What is S&C?

Strength and Conditioning is a style of athletic coaching, and training that has grown in some popularity over the last few years. Essentially it is the physical, and physiological development of athletes for elite sport performance.  Our role as S&C coaches is to pass the theory of sports science, and sport specific training to the athletes, helping them to maximise their full athletic potential.

How can it help me?

S&C can help anyone. The end goal is that clients become fitter, faster, stronger, more powerful, more agile, more co-ordinated, and have maximal conditioning to optimise performance and reduce the risk of injury.

Im not a professional athlete, can I still do it?

Of course! We seen a multitude of different people from various backgrounds at ESP, so don’t be shy about getting in touch.

I heard that you do powerlifting coaching is that something I can do?

Our resident powerlifter Lewis Mitchell takes clients for one to one powerlifting training sessions and programming. Whether you want to refine your technique on the compound movements or whether you are a complete beginner, want to learn all the basics, and have Lewis program some training for you we can help with that.

How much does it cost?

Individual sessions start at £40.

How long do sessions last?

1 hour.
